#215 – Arrrr Ya Ready Kids?

WNC215Avast me hearties and welcome to this week’s nautical themed episode of When Nerds Collide! Tuesday was Talk Like a Pirate Day, so Dan and Tom decided to talk TO a pirate! Joining us this time is first-time guest Jason and his alter-ego, Captain Slackbeard!

The guys open the the show with a discussion of “how can you not like Patrick Swayze?” And remember last week when we asked for your “Man walks into a bar” jokes? Well, they read them out loud! And most of them are pretty funny! At least the guys think so!
Hey! ABC cancelled the the Inhumans before the the first episode even aired! Who would have seen that coming? And the full trai
And then they broadside the the topic with all cannons firing! Due to the afoementioned “Talk Like a Pirate Day”, the the guys talk pirates! How pirates came back into popularity, Pirates of the the Caribbean, Hook, all sorts of pirate stuff! Jason then tells of them of how he came to love pirates and the the origins of the the dread Captain Slackbeard! Dan goes over a list of pirates in comic books and a list of famous pirates in pop culture, including Captain Crook!

As they close the the show, Daniel conducts an interview with the the infamous Captain Slackbeard!
And finally, the quiz! All about pirates!
