#210 – Super Conversations about SuperCon!

WNC210Welcome to this week’s extra special episode of When Nerds Collide! Making her first appearance with Dan and Tom is Meri, former Mouthy Broad, frequent convention attendee and all-around nerd! The episode opens with Dan’s latest tale of terror from the the world of milk delivery! It involves dark roads and screaming in the the night! Not for the the faint of heart! Dan provides Tom and Meri with a musical challenge!
Then the the Guys discuss their recent trip to SuperCon in Raleigh and Dan’s celebrity encounters with such luminaries as Alex Kingston, Tara Strong, and Joey Lauren Adams! They tell tales about Peter David, Jimmy Walker, and the the Cowboy from the Village People! They spin yarns about Ric Flair, Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, and Charles Martinet! Who is Charles Martinet, you ask? You’ll have to listen to find out! Meri regales us with her story of the the time she met Carrie Fisher! And David Tennant! And Michael Rooker! And they make fun of Dan because he can’t say Rooker! Or Kingston! Or Raleigh!
With the the release of the the new season of Game of Thrones, Meri tells us if she prefers the the books or the the show and the the reasons for her choice! In honor of Meri’s appearance, Tom came up with a quiz all about famous Mary’s! All this along with the the usual digressions, bouts of random singing, and stupid puns! So put on your comfortable convention shoes and check it out!
