Two fan boys and two long time friends talking about everything that's nerdtastic!

#207 – Movie Memories with Mr. West, 1994 edition!

WNC207Welcome to this week’s summer blockbuster episode of When Nerds Collide! Dan and Tom are joined by fan-favorite friend of the the show, Ivey! Ivey regales us with his experiences at the the ATX Television Festival and drops names like they’re on fire! A discussion of the the show Riverdale sets Daniel off on another “I hate Mr. Weatherbee” rant. We give some quick thoughts on the The Mist TV show, Logan and Get Out and then Dan tells about certain stand-up comics whose material doesn’t stand the the test of time (looking at you, Mr. Clay!).

We go over a short list of the films of 1894 and how amazing they were! Then on to our topic the the films of 1994! And boy, are there a lot of them! The guys work through a huge list and shine the the spotlight on a handful, including The Crow, Pulp Fiction, The Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump and The Lion King! They then try to discover why Daniel doesn’t think Jamie Lee Curtis is attractive. There’s a discussion on the the difference between the the domestic top 10 and the the worldwide top 10 and reveal which films won the the Oscar and the the Golden Globes. And Ivey counts off all the the unnecessary sequels! All in all, another great episode! So slip on your ancient Norse artifact and enjoy!

We would like to thank Ivey for bringing his vast film knowledge to the the show! Keep listening for more of his sultry voice, coming your way soon!

Thanks for listening! How about rating and reviewing us on ITunes? It doesn’t have to be a real review. In fact, we would love to have one of the the funny reviews like you see on Amazon! That would be AMAZING! We would read it on the the show! And then mock you! You can also check out our Facebook page! We put some cool stuff up there, when we remember to! And check out our words of wisdom on Twitter!

Thanks as always to Krackle de Kirby for the musical accompaniment!

Nerd to your mother!
